Research Abstract

Assignment
Write a three-paragraph synopsis of your research project, describing (1) your research question (topic), (2) your plan for answering this question (methodology), and (3) the relevance of this project to the relationship between religion and ethnicity (significance).  Bear in mind the general guidelines explained on the research project assignment page.

Give your abstract an original and fitting title
, with capitalization that follows academic conventions:  in general, capitalize the first word of the title (and subtitle, if applicable) as well as all subsequent words except articles, conjunctions, and prepositions.

"Sign" your abstract by appending your name and the word count to the end of your report; for example:

Wanda Goodgrade
587 words

Use a word processor to draft your abstract, with single-spaced paragraphs and an extra paragraph break between paragraphs (like the layout of this webpage).  Be sure to save a copy for your own records.
