Assignment
|
At this
point in your research, you should be nearly finished evaluating the
sources on which your paper will be based and you should have made
significant progress on developing
your topic and organizing your
notes.
Write a detailed outline of
your paper, comparable in form and style to those prepared for the oral
presentations. Bear in
mind the general guidelines
explained on the research
project assignment page as well as the methodology and significance
you identified in your research abstract.
Update your project title if
necessary, with capitalization that
follows academic
conventions: in general, capitalize the first word of the title
(and
subtitle, if applicable) as well as all subsequent words except
articles, conjunctions, and prepositions.
Use a word processor to draft your outline. Be sure to save a copy for your own records.
