Assignment
|
Write an academic paper on the topic you have
been researching over the past few weeks. Bear
in
mind the general guidelines
explained on the research
project assignment page, particularly the
points regarding topic focus, religious studies approach, and the
question of ethnicity.
Cite your
sources using simplified parenthetical
references:
For book citations, include the
author's/editor's last name and page number(s); for example, (Molloy
123) or
(Smith 54, 57-58).
For Internet citations,
include an abbreviated
title; for example, (Ethnicity).
Append a bibliography, listing only those items you have read or reviewed personally.
Your bibliography should include at
least six sources, all of them written
by qualified authors and published by reputable presses/websites,
including at least three printed
books and/or journal articles.
Give your paper an original and
fitting title, with capitalization that
follows academic
conventions: in general, capitalize the first word of the title
(and
subtitle, if applicable) as well as all subsequent words except
articles, conjunctions, and prepositions.
"Sign" your paper by appending
your name and the word count to the end of your
report; for example:
Wanda
Goodgrade
3587 words
Use a word processor to draft your
paper, with single-spaced
paragraphs and an extra paragraph
break between
paragraphs (like the layout of this webpage). Be sure to save a copy for your own records.
